Knitting For The Baby

I have been knitting some things for the new baby. Here are two hat and bootie sets that I made. I've also made a sweater, hat, and bootie set but I do not have the buttons and ribbon on it yet. I am feeling very pleased with myself for getting these done. Knitting with the tiny needles is hard to get used to.This set here is the first one I did. It was made with size four needles. The other knitting project I am doing uses size 13 needles. The change in size took some getting used to! I am really thrilled with the results and the new baby can wear this set in the hospital.I made this set for the baby to wear with his snowsuit. The bootie size is suppose to be for three to six months but I think they are rather small. But it doesn't matter as he can wear these anytime...I'm not picky!
