Still Going...

Over Labor Day weekend my in-laws had my children down to their house. Mark and I were home working on cleaning out my mom's house with my brothers.
It was weird not having them here and I missed the crazy noise.

My in-laws have a trampoline in their yard. I think they are dangerous but the children loved it.
They also have a swing set and lots of room to run.

Apparently, they spent the weekend on the trampoline.

Looks like they are having fun!
Irene started preschool this September. She is in the 3 year old class. She loves it and the teacher says she is very independent and confident but listens to the teachers.
First day of school wearing her Dora the Explorer dress and Dora backpack.

Henry also went back to preschool this fall. He is in the 4 year old class. The teacher says he is much more confident this year and thinks he'll really benefit from another year in preschool. He'll have no problem with Kindergarten next year.

It has been very different having life go on without my mom. So many times I have said "I gotta tell my mom that!" So many times I have gone to call her. It sometimes angers me that people are still going about their days. I want to shout at them...don't they realize what I've lost?! There are days when I'd like nothing more then to wallow in my sorrow in bed under the covers. Each day I get up though. Life must continue for my kids and I refuse to have them suffer because I feel horrible.
Each day my kids are crazy little boogers and each day they do something that makes me smile and laugh. My goal is to be a good mother for them.

You are being very brave Nichole. I'm so sad for you. Your children are so incredibly cute! Your littlest is so sweet. Good luck with pre-school. I'm sure your mom is smiling down on you and the kids every day.
